What are Themes? Why are they important to identity for the audience?
A Theme is a proponent or reoccurring in a piece of film. This has an impact on the audience as it is important for the theme of the film to connect with the audiences expectations and that they respond in a appropriate way.
How are Themes dependent on genres and why?
The audience need to know what to expect and the director needs to know what to include in his/ her film. Each film has its own conventional themes.

From this research, I am aware of the importance from a narrative and how it effects the audience,
it is very important that the thriller connects with the audiences expectations and so the audience could respond in a appropriate way. when producing my own Thriller, I will be having 3 main themes which are Murder, Crime and Sci- Fi.
